 The Korea Train Express (KTX) is Korea's high-speed rail system that began operation in 2004 and travels up to 300 km/hr. It can travel from Seoul to Busan in 2 hours 18 minutes on the Gyeongbu line, from Seoul to Gwangju in 3 hours and Seoul to Mokpo in 3 hours 20 minutes on the Honam line, Seoul to Masan in 2 hours 55 minutes on the Gyeongjeon line, and from Seoul to Yeosu in 3 hours and 30 minutes on the Jeolla line. |
