Koreans celebrating lunar new year every year. It is called 'Seollal' in Korean. It is family centric event. In Korea, Members of family gather and take a ritual for their ancestor in the first day of January according to lunar calendar. Favorite food during lunar new year holiday is 'Dugg Gook' which is made of rice bread. It is kind of stew. During Seollal, Koreans usually wear a hanbok (traditional clothes), performing ancestral rites, play folk games, eat traditional foods, listen to stories and talk well into the night.
